Another Day In Paradise - Phil Collins. OH FUCK YES.
How am I supposed to live without you - Michael Bolton
I’ll Be There - The Jackson 5 (oldest so far lol)
A Horse with No Name - America
Wow; if’n you wanna search through Billboard.com by the song title - don’t expect any chart information about singles older than ‘89 - guess their Data Entry people haven’t gotten that far back yet. Heck, MICHAEL JACKSON is listed as “This artist hasn’t charted yet, but keep checking Billboard for the latest updates.”
The David Tennant fangirls get really irritating sometimes. In a few years, we can expect to see “Reblog if Matthew Smith will always be the one and only Doctor.”
I appreciate that Doctor Who is so popular with so many, but come on, there’s a couple of decades you’re ignoring there. You’re only getting part of the experience, you know?
Jon Pertwee was best!
Pertwee is my wife’s favorite, too.
She has excellant taste!
The only one I am “meh” about is Paul McGann, but that’s due to the shitty writing in the movie.
Tom Baker is the first one I watched, so he’s got an edge towards the ‘favourite Doctor’ spot, but Pertwee, Davison, and - yeah, seriously - Eccleston & Tennant are up there in my books. Smith looks ‘edgy’ and ‘brooding’…but then that could just be the photographers’ styles from the pics I’ve seen :)
I’ll reserve judgement on him until I’ve actually SEEN how he turns out.
…but GAWD yes, the late-coming twits who rave about ‘The New Doctor Who’ as if it’s the best thing since the bread slicer and are totally ignorant of FORTY YEARS OF HISTORY make me want to take that old piano string used in the original theme and tie them down with it and force them to watch The Robots of Death, Destiny of the Daleks, Colony in Space, The Sea Devils or Earthshock!!!!!!
